Micah came home from Granpop's (my dad) yesterday with a new injury. They are having way too much fun without us! He LOVES my dad. More regressing. This really is just a joke. He doesn't take a paci anymore and will gladly hand it over when we ask. It is just funny when he wants to play with Sam's things.

Baby Sam
Samuel Ellis Malouf was born yesterday (Friday) February 6 at 1:29 PM. He was 6lbs 5oz and 19 and 1/2 in. We got to the hospital Thursday night around 8pm b/c I was having contractions and the Dr. told me to just come in. WE were so glad to already be at the hospital and because I was scheduled for an induction the next morning anyway, they would keep me whether I was in active labor or not. Turns out I wasn't. So, the next morning they induced me around 7:15. By 8:45 I was in some major pain with the contractions so they gave me the epidural. Finally at 1:00 we were ready to push. I took one practice push and the nurse said, whoa let me call Dr. Brown. She barely had time to put her gloves on and had me push with the next contraction. I pushed for literally 5 seconds and she said "okay, you can relax". Seconds later Sam was crying in my arms! We are soooo thankful for his health and all of your thoughts and prayers.

One last update...
Well it looks like Sam will be holding out until this Friday, Feb. 6th. We have set an induction for 6:30 am. Dr. Brown says we should have a baby by lunchtime! Please pray for a healthy baby and safe delivery. We are packed and ready to go. Below is his room, just waiting on his arrival! It was a very last-minute nursery. The chair will be red, but the new cushions haven't come in yet. Hopefully I will have pics and good news with the next blog!
Horrible lighting.
A few of my favorite things!
Micah is absolutely obsessed with balls. He sleeps with his "bootball" every night. He can say tennis ball, little ball and big ball too. It all started on his first birthday and he has been crazy over them ever since. The other night I had him on the changing table. He pointed to my belly and said "ball", "Big ball!" Hilarious. He copies everything Trip does which is how he has learned to swing a bat, golf club, throw balls, etc. Below are some recent pics at the park doing what he does best.
